Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your CSVs are read by your browser and stay in the page. There is no upload and no analytics tool on the app. Your cost per item is saved in your browser's local storage on your device, and nowhere else. See the privacy page.
Which files do I need?
An Orders CSV and an Order Items CSV (the items file is what makes per-listing results possible). A Payment CSV is optional but strongly recommended, because it holds the real fees, ad fees and shipping labels. Without it the tool can only use card fees from the Orders file or estimate.
Will it work with my export? My column names look different.
Columns are found by header name and nothing depends on column order. If a header is not recognized, you choose the matching column yourself. We have not yet tested against real export files, so please check the first results against your own statement and tell us if something is off at ege@appxiom.co.
Does it work with Shopify or other platforms?
Not yet, and we do not promise a date. If your files have an order number, a listing name, a price and fee rows, the column matching screen may already cope, but we have not tested it.
What if the result looks wrong?
Check the Not matched list first. It shows every row that could not be tied to an order and why. Then check the column matching, and compare totals with your statement. Results are estimates. If you still think the tool is wrong, write to ege@appxiom.co and you can have a refund.
What is the refund policy?
14 days, no conditions. Email ege@appxiom.co from the address you paid with.
How is this different from a free spreadsheet or calculator?
Free tools exist and some are good. A spreadsheet needs you to match payment rows to orders and split fees yourself. A fee calculator works on one sale at a time. ShopMargin takes the whole CSV, matches rows by order number, includes ad fees and shipping labels, and lists what it could not match. Some other tools connect directly to your shop account. ShopMargin does not, which is why your files stay with you. If you are happy with a spreadsheet, you do not need this.
Is this accounting or tax advice?
No. It is an estimate for your own decisions. Talk to an accountant for taxes and bookkeeping.
How do I get the tool after paying?
After payment you land on a thank-you page with a link to the tool. Bookmark it. There is no account and no license key. Sales are not open yet.
